When in contact, the extra Hellwig leaves stiffen the overload springs decreasing the sag of the vehicle in a loaded condition. Hellwig contact overload assist springs mount directly to the factory contact springs for easy install and better load support to increase the truck's level-load carrying capacity. In normal use, they leave performance unchanged.
